Image result for is google making us stupid

The effects of technological advancement are both positive and negative. Positively, technology advancement has simplified the way we do things, it saves time, it increases on production, it simplifies communication. Negatively , technology advancement has made humans so lazy , technology users are so dependent on new advance tech tools , this laziness has resulted into less innovation.

  1. I definitely agree with Connor's response that there are positives and negatives of technological advancement and the picture he posted accuratley depicts how our society has changed with the advancments in technology. Being a student myself, I can say that technology has most certainley made doing homework and projects, studying for quizzes, and writing papers a lot easier and more efficient. However, I also agree with Connor's statement that it has made us very lazy. Instead of maybe going to the Library to look up an answer from a book, we can just stay in the comfort of homes and "google" the answer on either our phones or laptops. That brings up the question, "Is Google making us stupid?" I don't agree that Google is making us stupid because when we want answer to a question, why go out of our way to find the answer, when it takes 10 seconds to look it up on our phones? However, I definitely agree with the fact that it has made us tremendously lazy.

  2. I strongly agree with Connor's view of the negatives and positives regarding technology. Even though people argue technology is a huge issue on today's society I strongly disagree. Without technology, many things would be impossible. For example, universities around the United States use technology to communicate with their students. In addition, technology has also greatly increased the medical field. Transplants, Cord Blood and surgeries are all now possible with advancements in technology. Technology has decreased our generations social skills, but there are way more methods of communication. Overall, I believe technology has had an increasingly positive impact.
